Girri Girra is a calling, a responsibility, and a way of keeping culture alive.

Led by Tim Selwyn and supported by a network of cultural experts in dance, song, bush medicine, and traditional knowledge, Girri Girra exists to guide people through this ancient land, sharing knowledge and bridging the past and present, ensuring the wisdom of our ancestors continues to flow.

Tim Selwyn: Founder & Cultural Custodian

Tim is a proud Aboriginal man dedicated to honouring the ancient lore of his people and the spirits of his ancestors through art, storytelling and cultural education. His ancestral line comes from the Wongaibon people of Central West NSW, while his Mother was born on Wiradjuri country in Dubbo. Tim himself was born on Wailwan country in Gilgandra, carrying with him the wisdom and traditions of his ancestors.

Looking After Country

Girri Girra is proud to hold a Parks Eco Pass, the official accreditation from NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, granting legal and cultural approval to operate within National Parks.

This ensures that all our tours and experiences respect and protect the land, following sustainable practices that preserve the natural environment for future generations.
